were can i get motorcycle clothing for my 10 pound dog. goggles, jacket/harness etc.?
he needs to ride at my lap or on the rear seat somehow
My lab used to ride on the tank just fine, until she got too big to sit on the tank. She never jumped off, even when other dogs barked at her. Then again she would never leave my side when not on a leash. Never worried about clothing as I had a FLT with a fairing. If you think about it, what’s the difference if the dog rides in a truck bed or if it rides on the tank or a sidecar of a bike?
And I would suggest that those who answered negatively and don’t know what they are talking about, not answer questions when they haven’t got a clue.
What is a Good name for a honda store?

http://www.kooldawgtees.com/DOG_MOTORCYCLE_CLOTHES.html has a bunch of gear…you may need to research further for a harness set-up, or just modify a regular harness to clip to your belt/or the backseat/sissybar….Good Luck!

You definitely want to think this decision through and take the pup out for some very gentle parking lot rides. I’d recommend you NOT let him ride in your lap— if he gets spooked by something and starts fussing or trying to escape, he could distract you or otherwise cause the both of you to get into an accident. You can’t explain to a dog what is going on— some dogs get freaked out and carsick just riding in the family car!
I did know one fellow who had a cat that would ride with him but he got a special bag/crate made and stowed the cat in the bag (when they were showing off, kitty would ride inside his jacket but never for very long). This is really the exception though; most animals are just not suited for travel via motorcycle.
Your bike AND your dog should not be fashion accessories. No offense! But for the safety of the pet and for your own safety, you really need to make sure the animal will actually tolerate being on or near the bike before you start selecting an outfit for him.

I have a question for you- where did you get that crack you are smoking? Have you nothing better to do? No wait- maybe you could cover your dog with velcro, and stick him to the tank?
