My dad got me a motorcycle jacket…it look’s like something from the 80’s…should I wear it to school?
My dad got me a motorcycle jacket from a garage sale….
it's my size…but the sleeve's at the top are too big..so I look muscular…At the moment..in my life in very confused and one of the thing's im confused about is clothing. When I wear clothing, do I wear it only to impress?Do I wear it to uphold consumerism?Do I wear it for the sake of having the latest trend? Do I wear it for a reason such as..age..occupation..place (restaurant,school,club etc.) I just turned 17..and now I have a motorcycle jacket..it's the type with the 2 flaps at the front…zipper's everywhere…buckle at the front too…that long zipper that goes down..is at the side and not at the centre ..it also has strings of leather that are laced together at the side's..and all the edge's are kinda yellow-ish that give it a worn look..I had just turned 17 ..it would look kind of silly on a kid with a back pack, don't you think so?

No, I don;t think so because if you don;t have a motocycle what's the point? But if it makes your dad happy and it makes you happy then wear it. Always remember being unique is better than being the same so if you want to stands out go for it then. Wear it.

Do you like it? Don't overthink it. If wearing it is not supporting an evil company that is forcing 5 year olds to work for pennies a day, it is ok to wear it.
If you think your friends will dis you for wearing it, you have to decide if you can deal with that. If so… if you like it, WEAR IT.
Life's to short to agonize over every little thing. There are more important to stress over.

Haha sounds like some pictures of my dad from the 80's….with a motorcycle…..No it's not cool (even the biker's now have simple leather jackets) even if you have a motorcycle…..If you got a sports bike then a black leather jacket with one zipper and maybe 1 or 2 chest pockets and red and white stripes down the top of the sleeve is ok for cold days but otherwise……NO

Does it serve a purpose, does it have practical value for you. Does it keep you warm and dry? If you have nothing against Vetter Leather, then why not use it. The strings of leather laced together sounds redundant. Do they serve a purpose? If not perhaps cut them off.
