how can i get that rocker look?
i am a teenage girl who has an allowance of 75 dollars a week, and i want to change my image from preppy girl to feminine rocker. i want you to find me styles that are’nt PUNK, or EMO or too goth or anything, and i want to be colorful, but not look at me. no combat boots, but i love boots, and no crazy crazy clothes. just subtle rocker chic. like an affordable Motorcycle Jacket andcute boots with a studded belt. or cool ideas of pink highlights in hair. thank you for you time!

Dr. Martens, google them the boots are lovely, get them at like hot pink or something. Like you said, biker cotton(since glossy will be too attract-attention) jacket paired with a graphic tee and the shorts + leggings combo.Try a studded belt, shorts and stockings if you’re brave too. Or if you want very minimalist, wear fingerless gloves on your hand. Very simple yet kills the look(:

only subtle, subtle changes to begin with.
start wearing scrunchy black leather boots,
not patent!! with worn denim skirts.
make sure the heels aren’t too high or you’ll look slutty,
which is never a good thing.
instead of wearing a hoodie,
wear a worn denim jacket.
red and black are generally fairly rock-y colors.
so are patterns, zebra, leapord, stars.
but start with tiny changes.
start layering plain shirts with,
patterned tak tops underneath.

you can’t go to school one day with a totally different, opposite of what you usually wear look. You can, but then you’ll look like a poser.
You should try stores like hot topic and, yellow rat bastard. They have some good things, and you’ll probably find stuff that you’ll like for your new style
