RP had nothing to …
RP had nothing to say. He boasts about an unremarkable life designing computer games.
Dying at 50 doesn’t make him insightful. He doesn’t offer a single original thought.

@braxjammer you’re an idiot
Am I the only one …
Am I the only one who finds some incongruity in the perfectly manicured lawn on the McMansion – the pestisides, the fertiliser, everything we were warned about. We’d all be healthier if we lived a natural life. He’s a really brave, nice guy but we have to wake up to all this. Its like breast cancer days being sponsored by oil and SUV companies. We need to think bigger than this

Lectures usually definitely arent my “cup of tea” but this was so great!!! We read the book in 6th grade, and I came so close to crying so many times .

Just because he designed video games doesnt mean he didnt live a full, rich life or acquired knowledge. What a person does for a living doesnt necessarily define who they are. Your comment is both inappropriate and insensitive.

In his book he explains that he did it for his kids. So that they would have a way to know who their Dad was. As someone who lost his Dad at an early age, I can appreciate what a gift that is. And I am thankful that he shared it with us.
@kzeoli01 This is …
@kzeoli01 This is idiocy. This guy lived to design computer games (wow!) and to brag about a life that is not really worth bragging about. Sad really.
It’s complete blather that richly deserves ridicule.

It is not the fact …
It is not the fact that he “died” that makes him amazing. It is his attitude. In a world of over-stimulation, materialism, & people with negative attitudes (ahem)…he brings light. Look around..how many people actually had the courage to accomplish their dreams? He is an inspiration for those who work hard. So, don’t be jerks. If you don’t like his lecture or think he has “ulterior” motives, keep those to yourself. Let his lecture be an inspiration & not a debate on his intentions or attitude.
Just because he …
Just because he died, he’s not an “amazing human being.”
Trust me, every single one of us will go through this:)
I’m glad he didn’t cave in and used the opportunity to talk to his colleagues and students, but there’s really nothing amazing about this egotistic person….
