.I’m interested if a textile coat with leather in high impact areas is a good idear. Interested in cortech GX Air Jacket with leather or Python which is all leather. These prices seem very reasonable. Http://www.tourmaster/xcart/product.
How do you guys get the web sight so you can just click on it?

I own a GX Air w/ leather jacket and can’t say enough good things about it.

It works great in weather from 50 to 100 with the two liners and the waterproof liner keeps you dry. Liners come in and out easily. Armor is good. Best part is that they make tall sizes too.

Haven’t crash tested it yet but I feel confident it would hold up well – quality is good.

One thing to note: sizing is a little tricky. With both liners in, it fits true to size, maybe even a little snug. With the liners out, its a little big. If you plan on using it with the liners out most of the time, I might consider ordering a size smaller than you usually wear. Obviously its best to try one on before you buy if at all possible.

Hope this helps!

I used to have a First Gear jacket like that…. It was okay.

I now have a Frank Thomas Aquos jacket, which has an awesome zip out liner that can be worn as its own jacket!! And, I hit the ground at 45mph and the jacket held up rather well, only tearing through the elbow to the armor and not more than that… I went out and bought another one I was so impressed with it…
