The truth is a more of a realistic story (not about vampires.)The story is actually about Delilah and her beloved boyfriend, John who dies in a motorcycle accident, when this happened (since their two families were friends, they split up and moved to two totally different places when she moves she is stuck in a high school where she knows no one and has a hard time getting use to this new place. She starts spending a lot of time online so one day a strange name IMs her…the.boy020107 and the thing that is so strange about it is that the numbers were the exact date her boyfriend died on, in this situation she becomes lost and confused and eventually finds a new friend.

The first time Delilah and John met was their life snapshot. The Kansas sun shined above in the pristine blue sky. The navy blue lake glimmered back and the water stood at stand-still. The girl stripped of her t-shirt and sunglasses and dived off the old wooden dock. Snap! With her black- bikini-clad body in mid air in a graceful dive position, John watched and studied the new girl in town. There he sat, inches away from the lake on the hot grass, getting sprinkled with warm lake water watching her come up and gasp for air. As Delilah’s eyes adjusted they focused on the boy her age staring at her. She smiled nervously before pulling herself out of the water.
That night Delilah nearly finished unpacking. Moving from Suffield, Connecticut to a name, Kansas had been one of the most difficult times of her life. Moving here would be like starting over for Delilah, like a new life without the Suffield Academy tigers at her side. Just before Delilah was about to slice open the last cardboard box her mother called from downstairs. “It’s time to go to dinner with the neighbors, sweetie.”
“And make sure you look nice,” my dad added from the back of the house.
“Who are we going to see?”
“Some old friends ours, actually they have a boy that’s your age.”

Okay, first…a girl named Lay??? How about Dell? I thinnk that would have been a better nickname for a girl. I’m thinking sexual connotations that could be seen in the nickname. If she has a brain - you might have a problem. As far as a far as a last name Scan/American - how about Hansen?
An Irish middle name for John could be Patrick or Sean. An Irish last name would be anything that has "Mc" in it, such as John Patrick McMahon.
As far as an IM name for the female character - I’d rethink that nickname still. I know it might be hard because no doubt that character is "Lay" to you. Think child molesters, etc.

My lab used to ride on the tank just fine, until she got too big to sit on the tank. She never jumped off, even when other dogs barked at her. Then again she would never leave my side when not on a leash. Never worried about clothing as I had a FLT with a fairing. If you think about it, what’s the difference if the dog rides in a truck bed or if it rides on the tank or a sidecar of a bike?
And I would suggest that those who answered negatively and don’t know what they are talking about, not answer questions when they haven’t got a clue.

Pride, hubris if you will, can be a nasty trait. I wrecked my whole ride because I was too proud to listen to my competitorâs advice.
I like off-roading. Itâs my life. Growing up my father was a big fan of motor sports; my mom, not so much. Every time dad walked into the house with a bleeding leg or broken hand from a riding accident, my mom would say, âThose stupid machines will be the death of you Neddy.â I guess she was right, because he passed away a year ago from an unfortunate motorcycle accident. God bless his soul. We actually etched one of his famous sayings on the tombstone. It reads, âI love the smell of two-stroke in the morning.â Thatâs what he used to say when weâd cruise around the lake on our motor boat.
Iâve been into 4 wheel off-roading ever since I was 14. My dad used to drive me to a nice big open space like our rival high schoolâs football field and where weâd do doughnuts. I still remember the first time he took me driving. School had been cancelled because it was snowing. My dad asked if I wanted to go for a cruise in the Jeep. I grabbed my jacket and we took off. We finally got to the field and I remember my dad turned, and looked me up and down. âSon,â he said, âToday you become a man.â He pulled the keys from the ignition and put them in my hands. âShoot, pa. Are you serious?â I asked, trying to hide my excitement. No wordsâhe just shot me a wink.
When I got behind the steering wheel, I remember my feet couldnât reach the pedals so we slide the seat up all the way, till it couldnât get any closer. And from that moment I was hooked. I pushed the gas hard, with my right foot, sending the wheels spinning. As I started to get the feel of the pedals, I became more confident and whipped around the field faster and faster. I was having such a good time, but apparently itâs illegal to drive on school property and without a license. Sure, we had a few court fees and had to do a bit of community service, but it was worth it. Since then I have bought my own Jeep Wrangler and have been competing in the professional off road circuit.
Unfortunately, a recent accident has landed me out of commission. I was unstoppable. I was confident, some may say cocky. The point is, before the competition Big Chuck Masterson, who happens to be my main competition, was eyeballing my ride. He then comes over and tells me I shouldnât compete because my shocks looked worn. Oh come on. Does he really need me to forfeit to win? Thereâs no way I was losing without a fight.
Finally it was my turn. In the competition, drivers must traverse down a narrow, mountain path while navigating over various obstaclesâanything from pebbles to massive boulders. As I came into the first turn, I was going to a little fast and my front right tire hit hard into a boulder. Rather than absorbing the impact, my shock exploded, sending my Jeep tumbling down the mountain. A destroyed Jeep and twelve broken bones later, I learned my lesson. If I had only listened to Big Chuck I would have been back in action.
